The Silver Legion Mine is located South East of Las Vegas, Nevada. Nearest town is Nelson, Nevada. Primary mining in the area included: gold, silver, lead, copper and zinc.

The portals and collar shaft to Silver Legion mine have been gated. It's an easy gate to get around, but please do not alter any mine barriers. When people alter the easy barriers, their next step is to harden the closures by backfilling, concrete and foam. Nobody wants to see that.

Just across the trail and wash is an incline shaft and winch cabin. The collar to the shaft is also gated, but there is still access to the winch cabin.
