Mountain Queen Mine is located South of Las Vegas, Nevada. Nearest towns are Jean, Nevada,  Goodsprings, Nevada  and Sandy Valley, Nevada. Primary mining in the area included: copper, lead, silver, gold and zinc.

This is one of the many mines we located accidentally while trying to locate a better route to another mine.  The valley is well hidden and looked like it would end up a small wash, but it opened up nicely.  There is nothing remarkable about the Mountain Queen Mine.  At best, I would consider it little more than a prospect.  The incline shaft followed a seam a few yards in and ended abruptly.  The mine is now mostly sealed.
